When I have a client come to me for private coaching, one of the first questions I ask them is if they have anyone in their life they are accountable to. The truth is most people do not have any good experiences with accountability done rightly! You see, in order to grow your identity in Christ, you need to be mentored by spiritual mother’s and fathers and also have sisters and brothers in Christ who hold you accountable for the vision God has given you to accomplish in the earth.
They avoid it because they are afraid of being “found out” that they are failures or other negative outcomes that maybe they saw someone else experience. You see, in order to grow your identity in Christ, you need to be mentored by spiritual mother’s and fathers and also have sisters and brothers in Christ who hold you accountable for the vision God has given you to accomplish in the earth. You see, the number one way to push through spiritual warfare is through unity in prayer!
Here are some challenges my clients have pushed through using accountability and action!
- A lack of personal discipline
- Sloppy eating patterns
- Fitness and weight goals
- Addictions and other compromising patterns
- Marriage Difficulties
- Financial chaos
- Social awkwardness or rejection that leads to isolating themselves
- Parenting challenges
If you are confused constantly, fighting the same battles over and over, then you need to develop a focused plan and ask someone to hold you accountable to stay on track to finish what you start. Watch this to discover what that person should do for you!
